Mike Bloemendal

Pitch Media Services is the creative outlet for Mike Bloemendal.

 

Mike set out in 1992 to teach recording and production in Malaysia. Supposedly an 18-month stint.

​

After teaching for 5 years Mike left and started his own audio post production company in Malaysia, Imaginex Studios. From 1997 to 2014 the studios anchored by Mike’s creative and technical talents, worked on hundreds of commercials, feature films, and TV productions. From music to adr, sound design and foley to final mix.

​

Feeling New Zealand calling him home, in 2014 Mike left Malaysia with family in tow to rest and rejuvenate after the intense working environment of Asia.

​

Of course the urge to keep creating never really leaves, so Mike is now happily ensconced in his studio on Auckland’s North Shore, where he continues to apply his decades of experience to the audio post production and advertising worlds.
